Aloha! If flying to the Hawaiian Islands for Spring Break doesn’t quite fit into your budget, today’s VPOD brings the islands to you!
This vintage 1940s rayon dress sports a print that features Pan Am Airlines, the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Waikiki beach, volcanoes, hula dancers, and more. And while I don’t advise accessorizing this with a lei (unless you’re wearing it to a backyard luau), you can certainly pair it with a little cashmere cardigan to keep the air conditioning chill off your shoulders.
It’s a bright, fun way to ignite the island spirit of a vintage fashionista!
Available from the Land of 1000 Dresses.

The Little Black Dress (LBD) is one of the most sought after vintage items. Every fashionista needs a LBD in her wardrobe and there are amazing vintage versions to be had at reasonable prices. But as our thoughts turn to Spring and Summer, it might be time to turn your attention to the Little White Dress (LWD).
While a LBD is a staple year-round, the LWD sure comes in handy once the weather turns warm. And the perfect LWD can be a little harder to find because white is associated with weddings, and well, just because you want to wear a white dress doesn’t mean you want to look like a bride!
One way to avoid that is to choose something a little less tailored with a touch of whimsy. Like today’s VPOD.
This vintage sailor sundress is perky fun with its blue piping and perfectly placed bow.
It’s a delightful LWD for a vintage fashionista!
Available from the Chic & You Shall Find.
