Good news, ladies! In just the past two years, the average weight of our purses has plummeted 57% thanks to the fact that the many of the gadgets we normally carry have become lighter or have been replaced entirely. For instance, many of us no longer have to carry bulky planners or address books because we keep that information on our cellphones. And cellphones themselves have almost shrunk down to the size of a compact!
