I spent the most pleasant Saturday afternoon enjoying the fabulous fashion exhibit at the new Resnick Pavilion at LACMA.

Fashioning Fashion: European Dress in Detail 1700-1915 features the museum’s groundbreaking acquisition of a major collection of European garments that spans over 200 years of fashion.

The show opened today and will run through March 6, 2011.

And if the West Coast isn’t in your plans, then hop on over to the Fashion Costume Party at the LACMA website. Although touted as a children’s game, this interactive application will give you an up close and personal look of many of the exhibit’s highlights.
