VPOD: O is for Orange

Not every vintage dress from the 1920s screams “flapper” as evidenced by today’s VPOD. This more conservative number puts some roar into the Roaring Twenties with its bold burnt orange chiffon. And while you always risk looking a bit like a pumpkin when you take on orange, there’s no need to worry here. The shade is just perfect and the detailed pleats in the skirt, the neck tie, and the Grecian beading at the shoulders complete a very sophisticated look.

It’s an eye-turning find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Samaya Ling Vintage Collections.

Has an elegant feel despite the color.
