Are you a label snob? Do you turn away from any vintage pieces that aren’t designer? It’s okay to say yes…I’m not judging anyone. But I would like to bring your attention to the fact that there are thousands of vintage orphans without labels waiting for a good home. These little gals can be just as beautiful and well constructed and stylish as their labeled neighbors and they could use a little love.
So why not adopt today’s VPOD? This dramatic Hawaiian maxi was home-tailored by a super-talented seamstress in the late 1960s to early 1970s. Just check out the detailing! First and foremost is that unusual fishtail skirt with its superb pattern placement. Then you’ve got the small cap sleeves with just enough elastic to pull them slightly off the shoulders. Sure gives Malia a run for the money!
It’s a heavenly Hawaiian find for a vintage fashionista!
Available at Cat’s Vintage and Designer Clothing.

I like this, oddly enough.
This is beautiful!
Reminds me I need to get some of my Hawaiian vintage dresses out!
