VPOD: Crafty Moonbag

When I was a little girl, I loved doing crafts. One of my mother’s friends taught me to crochet and I made all kinds of hats and curly little bookmarks. I had a kit to make these huge paper flowers that Martha Stewart would have adored. And homemade cards were a specialty. So I have a deep appreciation for crafty vintage items like today’s VPOD.

This 1980s needlepoint bag is by Patricia Smith–completely hand-made and one of a kind. The design has a fresh feel and the hand-painted wooden handles add a whimsical touch.

While the knitting craze is dying down, needlepoint is experiencing a revival. And you can join the trend without ever threading a needle with this cute little bag that’s just perfect for a vintage fashionista!

Available at La Pochette.
