Today I just want to remind everyone that you can build a fabulous vintage wardrobe without spending a fortune or amassing a closetful full of designer names. Because so many women in previous decades made their own clothes or had their clothes made for them by talented dressmakers, there are fabulous vintage items just waiting for new homes.

Take today’s VPOD for instance. Its Asian label is certainly not being coveted and bid up by the likes of Pucci collectors on eBay, but it is fabulous! The deep emerald green is set off with brown cuffs and a little tie belt. The jacket has amazing lines and oh what I could do with that skirt sans jacket!

It’s a no-name wonder for a vintage fashionista!
