I swear I could have a closet filled with nothing
but Little Black Dresses!

This one is a fine example and a reminder
to all of us internet shoppers that just because
a dress is shown on a 5’10” model like Vanessa
doesn’t mean it’s her size.

What’s hidden from the camera here are the pins and clips
used by the stylist to make this dress
with a 40″ bust look form-fitting on Vanessa’s
much tinier frame.

Someday, perhaps, models of all sizes will be embraced
by the fashion industry on a global scale
but until then, it’s a good idea to always check sizes
before you click past an item you love.
