Chanel No. 5 isn’t the only thing that Chanel is bottling ladies!
Chateau Rauzan-Segla was founded in 1661 and produced some of the highest rated wines in Bordeaux, delighting many well-known figures including Thomas Jefferson, before several financial crises hit. In 1994, Chanel purchased Chateau Rauzan-Segla and began a full renovation program.
Today, every single building has been renovated with careful attention and respect to the history and preservation of the architecture and the winery produces 300,00 bottles a year of a wine described as “filled with a rich bouquet, silky intense tannins and elegant taste.”
To celebrate its 350th Anniversary, as well as the exceptional quality of the 2009 vintage, Château Rauzan-Ségla is proud to announce a very special – one time only – collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld, who has brought his iconic drawing style to the label with a rendering of the Château Rauzan-Ségla.
This Grand Crux Classe Margaux will hit the retail stores of fine wine purveyors in March and is available for pre-order now ($129).
Sante!
