I just love the eclectic look of mixing old and new in home decor and I’m just lovin’ McGuire Furniture’s new Jackson Square collection. (And no, they’re not paying me to say this!)

I received their catalog in the mail yesterday and drooled over their new furniture pieces as well as the gorgeous presentation, photography and styling.

One lovely touch that struck my fancy was the vintage rug that was used in the photo here. The brand new McGuire Marview Lounge Chair is perfectly accessorized with this rad-and-ratty ol’ rug which was embraced for its all its flaws and eccentricities rather than abandoned.

And that’s the decorating spirit of a true Vintage Crusader.
