VPOD: Vintage 1960s Embroidered Suit

Sure you feel like ripping you hair our sometimes, don’t we all? But do you ever feel like ripping your clothes apart? Now I don’t mean pulling a Superman stunt and ripping them off in public. No, I’m talking about seeing two- and three-piece outfits as separate personalities. Take today’s VPOD for instance.

This vintage 1960s suit by Anita Modes has extraordinary embroidery but, at least for me, the two pieces together are a bit too much. I prefer to view them as two separate pieces at a bargain price when purchased together. So bring in the deconstruction team! Wear the jacket with slim white trousers. Pair a feminine blouse with that lovely skirt.

It’s a perfect outfit to practice the art of (de)construction for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Hollywhirl Fashion Boutique.

I agree. Sets like this are best worn, well, separated and pieced w/ other stuff (prefferably newer items).
