VPOD: Vintage 1960s A Pauline Trigere Cocktail Dress Treasure

If you’ve watched Project Runway then you’ve heard many of the contestants scolded when their work was “overdesigned.” And if you’ve watched The Rachel Zoe Project then you’ve been warned of the dangers of being “over-styled.”

“KISS–Keep It Simple Sweetheart.”

“When in doubt, leave it out.”

Sometimes you really should listen to that quiet voice whispering inside your head. Pauline Trigere did and look at the masterpiece she created.

This 1960s brown wool cocktail dress exhibits radical simplicity with its clean lines and tasteful rhinestones. Not one stitch of “over-design.” But it’s up to you to make sure it isn’t “over-styled.”

It’s a Trigere treasure for a vintage fashionista!

Available at C. Madeleine’s Vintage Clothes.

Wow. This dress made me stop scrolling down. So tasteful & ladylike, but modern at the same time. As always, Zuburbia delivers. . .
