VPOD: I Feel Pretty, Oh So Pretty

Before you know it the holiday party season will be here and you’re probably going to react in one of two ways. You’ll either eagerly look forward to invitations knowing you have the perfect party dress in your closet or you’ll be running around like a maniac trying to find somthing to wear at the last minute. I’ve played out both of these scenarios over the years and I promise you the first one is a lot more fun!

Today’s VPOD features a fabulous 1950s cocktail dress that would be oh-so-right for so many holiday occasions. This sophisticated dress features a favorite label: “Harvey Berin designed by Karen Stark.” It’s a relatively simple yet elegant design–a fitted sheath with pleated cap sleeves and a rear view that includes a plunging back and floating panel. But because it’s done in gorgeous ivory satin with a quite contemporary black-and-white print pattern, it looks fresh and modern although it has distinctly vintage roots.

It’s an oh-so-pretty find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Kitty Girl Vintage.
