Both alligator and crocodile are considered to be high quality leathers and carry high prices. So how do you tell them apart and more importantly, how do you know a bag is authentic? Unfortunately, you can find bags with inside markings that say “alligator” that are actually crocodile and a bag marked “croc” could actually be alligator. What’s a vintage fashionista to do?
