Astrid Reichenbach calls herself a “Maker of Pretty Things” and surely she is.
I’m loving her unique, colorful necklaces made from cotton muslin and embroidered thread.
And I love the story of their beginnings.
Astrid, able to carve out creative time only in the evenings, couldn’t use something noisy like a sewing machine. So she turned her attention to quieter pursuits using, well…a plain ol’ needle and thread.
Her geometric necklaces are sure to add some punch to your Spring outfits but also check out her earrings, brooches, ornaments and wall hangings.
