VPOD: Vintage 1970s Jean Varon Gem of a Dress



For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, this week marks the official beginning of fall. On Tuesday, at 5:18 pm EDT, we’ll experience the fall equinox and surely be reminded to change the batteries in our smoke detectors.

But it’s also a reminder for fashionistas to take stock of their winter wardrobe, pull items out of storage and start their closet switcheroo from breezy summer fare to heftier fabrics. It’s also a fine time to add an item or two to freshen your look. And today’s VPOD would be a fine choice.
