I am her silk scarf

Her Hermes silk scarf to be exact. So opens the Hermes catalog that I received yesterday along with my Variety. And what a delight! Beautiful photography, inspirational styling and, of course, to-die-for scarves similar to today’s VPODs.

And while I might not use one as a beach blanket like they did at their photo shoot, I loved the way they wrapped the scarves diagonally across the models and, of course, an Hermes wrapped as a head scarf is a crown fit for a queen!

These three beauties are from the 1970s, produced about four decades after the original. And while these are traditional silk squares, you can find Hermes in chiffon, cashmere and crepe too, and in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

They’re heavenly finds for a vintage fashionista!
