VPOD: Vintage Elizabeth Arden Artful Maxi Skirt

Elizabeth Arden was born Florence Nightingale Graham–yes, she was named after the famous nurse. And while she did train as a nurse herself, she had a change of heart when she was 29 years old and opened a store on Fifth Avenue in New York that sold face creams. The rest is, as they say, history. The Elizabeth Arden Co. has become a world leader in the cosmetics industry, but for several decades Elizabeth Arden also produced a couture and ready-to-wear clothing line, employing such well-known designers as Charles James, Ferdinando Sarmi and Oscar de la Renta.

Today’s VPOD features a vintage Elizabeth Arden flowy maxi skirt with a bright floral-and-swirl print that screams “Spring is here!” And with a price tag under $100, it’s an extra-special treat.

What a beautiful find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Monster Vintage.
