VPOD: Vinyl Victory

True fashionistas tend to take risks–with fabrics, with styles, with accessories. So do great designers and Courreges was one of the best.

There may have been space-age fabrics on the Spring runways this season but no one does Space Age better than Courreges. And if you’re going to collect Courreges, you must acquire some of his “vinyl” pieces for your collection. Like today’s VPOD perhaps?

This 1970s vinyl-look evening gown is actually made of polyurethane-covered cotton which provides more suppleness and comfort. The AC logo sits right beneath a heavy white zipper. But the empire waist and slightly flared skirt keep the dress from looking too industrial.

It’s a collectible find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Enoki World.
