VPOD: Pucci Power

Did you know that Pucci originated on ski slopes? Harper’s Bazaar photographed Emilio Pucci wearing ski pants of his own design and they created so much interest, the magazine had him design some clothes for women to be sold in New York City. The “the print maestro,” as he was called by Vogue, was born.

Today’s VPOD is a fantastic 1960s Pucci silk handbag that screams spring. The colors and swirls are distinctive Pucci design elements but I particularly like the addition of the dainty floral pattern that breaks up this particular print.

It’s a totally feminine find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Steptoes Dog Antique and Vintage Online Store.
