VPOD: VIntage 1970s Holly Harp Dress

Holly Harp took Hollywood by storm in the 1960s with her rich hippie looks and became a two-time Coty Award Winner. “Being dressed in perfect taste is very aging,” she once said. Perhaps that’s why even her ever-popular soft flowing chiffon dresses still have a slight edge to them.

Take today’s VPOD. This fabulous Holly Harp design is from the late 1970s/early 1980s. That’s rust red chenille interwoven with the jet black chiffon–quite unusual and very striking. And the beautiful Dolman-cut caped flutter sleeves, long sash, and draped spiral ruffle skirt just add to the overall fabulous look.

It’s a heavenly Harp for a vintage fashionista!
