VPOD: Vintage 1980s Pierre Cardin Bronze Age Jacket

The Bronze Age took place between 3500 BC and 1200 BC and referred to the time when civilizations could make bronze, an alloy made from tin and copper. But occasionally fashion goes through its own version of the Bronze Age when metallics are back in vogue. And while you see lots of these types of items around the end of the year so that fashionistas can be twinkling and sparkling for holiday parties, these metallic goodies aren’t just for dress-up.

Take a look at today’s VPOD. This vintage 1980s trapeze jacket by Pierre Cardin adds a welcome shot of metallic chic to a bandage dress but it would also look great paired with jeans and heels.

It’s a fab bronze find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at The Urban Collection.
