VPOD: 1950s Vintage Train Me Gown

An old high-school friend of mine is a train collector. But then again, so am I. I let him grab all the trains on eBay that choo-choo and he leaves all the “girlie” trains for me–you know, the kind that trail along behind you on the floor.

Oh, I know, a dress with a train isn’t something you get to wear out in the world everyday. In fact, some women may only enjoy the experience once, on the day they get married. But if you get to play dress-up more frequently, then you may want to add today’s VPOD to your very own train collection.

This anonymous 1950s raspberry halter gown has a satin tulip underskirt, a bold gold embellished bodice and some significant chiffon to trail behind you.

It’s a gorgeous find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Mary Moore Vintage.
