VPOD: Vintage Honolulu Hostess Gown

Like myself, Mort Feldman couldn’t stand the cold winters of the Midwest. But unlike me, he re-settled himself in the tropical paradise of Hawaii. And it was there, with a single sewing machine, that he co-founded Tori Richards, Inc. with three partners.

For over fifty years, his company has been producing original, exclusive textile prints and fashioning the copyrighted fabrics into outstanding garments. Just look at today’s VPOD.

This vintage polyester hostess gown may hail from Hawaii, from there isn’t a palm tree in sight–just tons of Fifth Avenue sophistication.

It’s a fabulous maxi for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Chi Chi and the Greek.
