VPOD: Thea Porter Eye Candy

Thea Porter may have studied in London, but her designs were influenced by the childhood she spent in the Middle East. And her use of exotic fabrics is particularly evident in today’s VPOD.

This Thea Porter masterpiece is eye candy for most of us mortals–yes, that’s a high 4-digit price on the tag–but that doesn’t mean we can’t all appreciate it for the work of art that it is.

Designed in the 1970s, this long couture coat is painstakingly embroidered, lined with silk, and embellished with fur.

It’s a true one-of-a-kind find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Shrimpton Couture.
