VPOD: And the Bride Wore Green

I’ve always found it interesting that white is the traditional color for wedding gowns. I mean, most women hope to look their absolute best on their special day and yet white is probably the least flattering color choice. Of course, now it’s become trendy to wear green to your wedding. No, not that green! Green as in eco-friendly. And while there are plenty of eco-friendly designers using natural materials in wedding gowns, you will always have a lower carbon footprint if you choose a vintage gown instead. And you won’t have to sacrifice an ounce of style.

Just take a look at today’s VPOD. This 1940s vintage wedding gown of silver and white brocade has a dramatic train that will have guests oohing and aahing all the way down the aisle.

It’s an eco-friendly choice for a vintage fashionista!
