VPOD: Abstract Me

In the documentary film My Kid Could Paint That, director Amir-Bar-Lev tells the story of little Marla Olmstead who, at the ripe old age of four, was painting modern canvases at her dining room table that had critics comparing her to Jackson Pollock. Genius modern art or toddler scribbles? You decide. After all, art is in the eye of the beholder.

And if you hold an affinity for abstract art, then today’s VPOD is for you. This 1980s print skirt has all the not-so-random brush strokes of ink and color that a girl could ever want. Oh, and its price hovers somewhere around $30, not $30 million.

It’s a cute abstraction for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Dorothy & Evelyn.
