I recently acquired about a hundred vintage Vogue magazines from the 1930s and I’ve been trying not to drool over all the glamorous fashions of the era. And that glamour extended to the lingerie of the era as well with absolutely gorgeous dressing gowns, camisoles and peignor sets.

Today’s VPOD features an extraordinary bra and tap panty set from the early 1930s. Red silk and French lace create a very ooh-la-la ensemble that is in mint/unworn condition. Put it in the ring in a head-to-head bout with a contemporary La Perla and it would win with a knockout in the first round.

It’s an ultra-glamorous find for a vintage fashionista!
