VPOD: Screenprinted Beauty

Screenprinting, according to one source, has its origins in Japan, with a form of stenciling known as katazome. And today’s VPOD features a 1960s screenprinted dress aptly described as “Asian Fusion.”

The bold print of brick red trees on yellow cotton has a definite Asian vibe but the funky pocket, flaring sleeves and matching sash feel very today.

It’s a screenprinted beauty for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Dorothea’s Closet Vintage.
