VPOD: I Dream of Pucci

There are certainly more coveted labels if you plan to sell your vintage collection at an auction house someday (Fortuny, Poiret and Worth come to mind), but when it comes to contemporary vintage–those treasured items that we wear out in the world to work and to play–Pucci is still one of the most-popular labels. And there are plenty of Puccis to choose from although some–like today’s VPOD–just take your breath away.

Talk about being ahead of your time! This beautiful fitted velvet jacket was designed in the 1960s and still retains all of its eye-catching charm. I love the black! Somehow it just offsets the pink and watermelon swirls perfectly and gives a girl like me a whole new way to spice up my closet of little black dresses, long black skirts, short black skirts, black shorts, black leggings, black wool pants, black leather pants…you get the idea.

It’s an ultra-chic find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Posh Vintage.
