By the time she retired in the mid-1980s, Bonnie Cashin had been awarded two dozen awards by the fashion industry. An American design icon, she designed for the active woman who required a minimum of fuss without a lot of “gilt and glamour.” Today’s VPOD features one of her famous designs.

This 1960s suede dress has a “Bonnie Cashin for Sills” label and features her signature toggle closures. Three playful fringe tiers set off the dropped waist and get this, the dress is lined in bright pink silk!
