VPOD: Prin(t)cess Lanvin

Although Jeanne Lanvin died in 1947, her daughter and many talented designers continued her business after her death. And in the 1970s, Lanvin produced tons of print dresses a la today’s VPOD.

This particular frock echoes the repeating dot motif we’re seeing this Spring. Its undulating lines are just perfect for camouflauging a belly or hips still waiting for the results of Pilates classes to kick in. Plus it’s eco-friendly in every way! First, it’s vintage; second, it’s washable; and finally, it’s an earth-inspired color scheme of tan, rust and charcoal black.

What a great designer find for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Ramona West Vintage Boutique.
