For me, the sweetest six weeks of the year are from May 16 through June 20 when California Bing Cherries are in season. I just can’t get enough of these juicy treats which are packed full of quercetin and amygalin, two oh-so-good-for-you nutrients with anti-cancer properties.

And since I’ve taken to only eating fruits and vegetables in season while they’re at their freshest and the delicious cherry days of summer are coming to an end, I’ll have to look to my closet if I want to get my cherry fix from now until next year. And today’s VPOD would make it easy.

This vintage 1970s nylon jersey shirt dress by Yves Saint Laurent is quite yummy with its packed cherry print. It’s a perfect office dress with its made-for-business neck tie and its not-too-clingy cut.

It’s quite a delicious find for a vintage fashionista!
