Talk about balanced reporting! Today’s New York Times featured two fashion articles that talk about fur: “Fashion Feels Furs Warm Embrace” reported that almost 2/3 of designers showing in New York used real fur in their collections (shame! shame!) while “Can Sackcloth Have Fur Trim” detailed Karl Lagerfeld’s use of what he calls “fantasy furs” which are (surprise! surprise!) actually fake!
