VPOD: Later Alligator


Both alligator and crocodile are considered to be high quality leathers and carry high prices. So how do you tell them apart and more importantly, how do you know a bag is authentic? VPOD: Gator Glamour

I spent most of the weekend at the Vintage Expo in Santa Monica. With 85 vintage clothing dealers displaying their wares I was like a kid in a candy store!

At one particular booth, I witnessed a woman buying six alligator handbags but not one was as beautiful as today’s VPOD.

This 1960s version features a classic shape and bears an “Genuine Alligator” stamp on the interior.
