On my last trip to San Francisco I was driving around the city completely trusting the Mapquest app on my iPhone to get me where I needed to go. When I missed an exit, I heard the oh-so-familiar GPS voice chanting “Recalculating…”

When it comes to punctuation marks, exclamation points are definitely my favorite.
I mean, commas and periods don’t strike me as particularly special. They’re just utilitarian and necessary.
Semi-colons and colons often leave me befuddled.
