Tonight is the long-awaited Madonna-themed episode of Glee where the cast will perform Express Yourself, Like a Prayer, 4 Minutes and Like a Virgin. It’ll be interesting to see the glee-club interpretation of these tunes, especially Like a Virgin. After all, Madonna put herself on the map with this video by turning its ambiguous lyrics into her first #1 single on Billboard’s Hot 100.

Today’s VPOD, a vintage 1970s Victorian-style cotton maxi dress is reminiscent of the wedding gown that Madonna wore in the beginning of her Like a Virgin video. But even this matronly, conservative, yes, even virginal frock can be turned into something a little more hip and current with the magic of styling.

Add shimmering gold flats, long flowing beads and a smashing headscarf and boring becomes boho.
