VPOD: A Blast of Blass

Bill Blass believed in eliminating the superfluous from clothes and concentrating on the essentials. And that kind of thinking is what led to today’s VPOD.

This 1980s evening gown combines comfort with understated elegance. A sleeveless turtleneck bodice tops a full skirt done in a black-and-white checked acetate. But it’s the addition of those large patch pockets that sets this dress off from the rest!

It’s a true blast of Blass for a vintage fashionista!

Available at Woodland Farms Antiques.
