VPOD: Yellow Roses

Yellow roses were discovered during the 18th century growing naturally in the Middle East. They became quite popular because, until this time, roses were seen only in pink or white. Today, yellow roses are symbols of friendship.

And, considering yellow is THE hot color for this spring, they make a great fashion statement as well. Look at today’s VPOD. This 1970s wrap skirt is by the famed Lilly Pulitzer. It’s oh-so-classic with a simple white tank or t-shrt and sandals.

What a bright addition to the closet of a vintage fashionista!

Available at Vintage Swank.
